Ella Bokor

Ella Bokor is an exceptional cellist and inspiring professor who makes a significant contribution to the world of cello and classical music with her rich experience, talent and passion for music.

She is the founder of the MiniCelloseducational program, Associate Professor of Chamber Music at the National University of Music in Bucharest, co-founder and main organizer of the CellEAST Festival, president of the PlaCello Cultural Association, artistic coordinator at the Romanian Youth National Music Center and cello professor at the Dinu Lipatti National College of Arts. She is an honorary member and ambassador of the Sebastian Lee Association Conservation du patrimoine musical en danger d'oubli, founder of the Cello Jaia Duo and the Ludens Piano Trio and a member of the Violoncellissimo Ensemble and the National Symphony Orchestra of Romania.

She has participated in important cultural and educational programs and festivals (SoNoRo, Icon Arts, the Klaipeda Festival, SoNoRo Conac, Isa16, Villa Musica, the International Chamber Music Festival in Plovdiv, International Georges Enesco Festival, Cello Fundamento in Vietnam, etc.).
