Katarina Pavlovic

Katarina Pavlović had her first violin lessons at the School for Musically Gifted Children in Ćuprija. She graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, and obtained her master's degree from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.

She has been appointed concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of Southeastern Europe from Sarajevo since 2007. She has performed with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the Camerata Serbica Ensemble, the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, and the No Borders Orchestra. In addition, she was an assistant concertmaster of the Junge Philharmonie Wien and a guest concertmaster of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra. She was the principal second violin and soloist of the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra from 2009 to 2021.

The concert halls and festivals where she has performed as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician include the Wiener Konzerthaus, Lincoln Center in New York City, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, Sydney Olympic Park, The Júlio Prestes Cultural Center in São Paulo and many others.

Katarina Pavlović is the concertmaster and founder of the Serafim Chamber Ensemble.

She performs on a Giancarlo Arcieri violin.
